Home from Prison
By Maureen Harvie • JAN 28, 2015
What’s it like to come home from prison? Are your relatives glad to see you? Community Mediation Maryland, a conflict resolution program, says one session of pre-release mediation between an inmate and relatives can reduce potential conflicts and increase the chance for a successful homecoming. Our guests: Lorig Charkoudian, the program’s executive director, and two people who went through the mediation process. We’ll also hear from Gicelle Fundales, director of training and production for Civic Works’ Baltimore Center for Green Careers, about their work training ex-offenders for jobs.
Guest Host: Sheilah Kast
